Day Trip to Park Rapids - Take a day trip to Park Rapids (about 40 minutes away) Home to Minnesota’s first State Park, the Mississippi Headwaters, a logging camp and a charming main street with fun little shops, restaurants and more! I highly suggest taking a short detour to the little town of Dorset, between Park Rapids and Nevis. They have the cutest shops and some of the best food in the area!

Day Trip to Hackensack - A cute little town to check out. Take a picture by Paul Bunyan’s wife, Lucette, sit on the patio and enjoy a craft beer at Rendezvous Brewery, try some authentic Tai food at Charng Thai Restaurant, get an old-fashioned milkshake or a big ice cream cone from the Big Dipper Ice Cream Shop, or go see a movie at Park Theater in Park Rapids.
